I'm not entirely sure what you want on here for the Cloud ninja, Gatz... so... I guess I'll just say that their skills would revolve around lightning release and they would be super cool, and stuff...? I can see why you didn't add them in the beginning, but there's really no excuse not to now with all of the skills and such that have been added in the anime. I think the mud should at least have the five great shinobi nations. Sound is kinda weird to me but... I won't go into that one too much >_>

You gotta realize when I first began Naruto was at a spot where the only thing we knew about Hidden Cloud was that they tried to capture Hyuuga Hinata years ago, but now we have lots of source material to go from. Lightning Armor - Raiton no Yoroi
Level 100 Ninjutsu (perhaps a village specific SBA that is extremely hard to obtain?)

*Would possibly level playing field with low hp/stamina stat ninjutsu mains vs taijutsu tanks

*This skill would basically increase all defensive attributes (dodge rate ~+50%, damage reduction ~+50%, possibly lower lag on taijutsu skill "cooldowns"?)

*Increase damage done by taijutsu skills ~+25%

*percentages could be based on amount of chakra available? maybe have a similiar systems to regeneration, you can either not have it on, level 1 low chakra consumption, up to level 5 with high consumption and full bonus

I'm down with that, but subbing that out for Regenerate and making it the equivalent level (60 or 80 maybe). So, it'd be like:

"raiton #" - Where # is the strength of the armor, but it drains every second like Regen does.

Hrmm what about Ninja Art: Fangs of Lightning for a Ninjutsu? Although it would require dual wield as well. And probably be a high level jutsu like that of Karyuu Endan. It is a Jutsu/kenjutsu, Also Land of the lightning a lot of them practice Kenjutsu, and like Bee if mastered can hold a weapon on any part of the body. Just a brainstorm but maybe be able to get to that point where you can equip sword legs, or wrist, or even neck...

Going off of his point of them being sword specialists:

Kenjutsu specialization
Level 25/50/100 Ningu
Would give bonuses for use of weapons with stab, slice and slash type weapons. In order to receive the bonuses, each skill must be adepted.

Level 25 - Kenjutsu adept
Increased damage output by aforementioned weapon types being equipped

Level 50 - Kenjutsu specialist
Increased dodge/parry rates when using aforementioned weapon types

Level 100 - Kenjutsu master
Slight increase to both damage, dodge/parry*, along with chance for extra attack per round on top of second, third, fourth, fifth attack
*could give another reduction to stamina cost instead of increases to the damage, dodge/parry


I think something like this could make ningu a more viable starting class. It would make ningu specialists even more formidable at high level with the buki skills.

I'm down with Kenjutsu skills for Ningu for Cloud. Could someone update the first post with the skills we sort of all agree upon? That way the first post is a summary of Cloud's skill trees.

I'm all about that move. When a Lariat is performed, there could be a 1-3 second delay and if any other player performs the lariat on the same target they instantly do a Double Lariat, for a big time damage bonus. Also, Lariat could get a damage bonus when used with Leap.

Since Cloud is looking to have some sweet moves for Taijutsu, Ninjutsu and Ningu, how about a couple of Genjutsu?

Genjutsu

• Youso Konmei (Elemental Confusion) - Victim's elemental nature is tampered with so their affinities are reduced to near nothing.
• Wabigoe (Sad Voice) - Victim is flooded by the voices of the dead and has reduced accuracy and heavily loses the ability to dodge or partially dodge attacks.

Taijutsu

• Enka Style - A style focused on flash and flare! Any weapons equiped (even if not wielded) provide bonus to your attack. Attack power is strong enough for all moves requiring Hebi style, and agile enough for moves requiring Tsuru Style. However, this is a heavy Stamina drain.

Ninjutsu

• Raigeki (Torpedo Attack/to be struck by lightning) - The user of this skill would mold their lightning element chakra into one of their arms, and as they go to throw a punch, pull static charge from the air around them into a sort of projectile made of electricity along their arm, which would then fly at their opponent, causing damage in an explosion of electicity and the feeling of being struck by lightning.

Unsure (Maybe SBA?)

• Shiden (Swordflash/purple lightning) - I'm not entirely sure on this one... User has to be wearing a weapon with slash flag and be using raiton no yoroi. The user would use the raiton no yoroi to increase their speed, enabling them to preform a lightning fast slash that leaves a purple trail after image. Would cause damage based on str/level of lightning armor.

I had the thought the other day that some suitons might be plausible for a cloud village ninja to have. Below I'll list the two I thought sounded the most fitting.

Souken Mizu - It would stand to reason that some lightning jutsus (like kangekiha) would work better in a wet environment.
*- The rest really depend on water creation, so if you don't agree then disregard the rest.

Kiragakure - If not this exact skill, something similar. Or perhaps give cloud ninja a natural immunity as they live in the clouds and they're often surrounded by fog.

My idea for a skill would be something like you create a ball of lightning in your hand that shoots out small bolts of electricity. So it has alot of handseals and a long prep time, but when it's done you can shoot them out with a simple command. The drawback would be the time it takes to start, but also while doing this you don't auto-attack at all. So essentially you could fire 1 or 2 per round, and the ball lightning would stay in your hand until you ran out of chakra, or you end the jutsu. You could also infuse the next attack with more chakra at the cost of a round in battle. The normal attack could be something like 30-50 chakra, and each charge would double so that you'd get something like 240 for your chakra cost on the third charge, and so on assuming the cost starts at 30. Also, you could add a chakra drain per second or tick, if you don't like the idea of a self-sustaining energy source at your disposal.

Holding your hand downwards palm flat, you grab your wrist with the other hand, "Raiton: Kesshoutama!!" You pull your chakra into your hand and a small point of white light begins to glow. Crackling with electricity it grows a few inches as you hold out your palm in front of you.

*fire*You pull more chakra into your hand and a small bolt of electricity shoots out from the ball lightning.
*charge*You pull more chakra into your hand and the ball lightning grows slightly larger.
*fire*A small bolt of electricity shoots out from the ball lightning, emitting a loud zap.
*charge2*You pull even more chakra into your hand and the ball lightning increases in size.
*fire*A bolt of electricity arcs out from the ball lightning and a small boom emits from you hand
*charge3*Your hand cramps in pain, as more chakra floods down your arm and into the ball lightning, singing your skin as electricity wildly arcs outward. (Maybe a health drain for each round you hold this for)
*fire*A boom erupts from your hand, crackling through the air, as lightning streaks away from you.

The idea is just a single command lightning jutsu where the user emits an intense bright light from their body, blinding everything in the room. Could also do damage to the victims head if they're using shoumei. Essentially it'd be like the opponent fighting in the dark so they can't target you. Nothing helps until it wears off, after a few rounds. Also could maybe make it so that the victim has lowered hr/dr/dodge while blinded too.


"Raiton: Senkou Pacchiri!!" Closing your eyes, you feel yourself lift off the ground and hover for a moment as the air heats up around you.

"Raiton: Senkou Pacchiri!!" Closing their eyes, $n lifts off the ground slightly before everything goes white!
