Location - Missions Office Entrance
Whistling quietly to himself, Isamu sits here planning out how to finish his new mission.
Noticing movement out of the corner of his eye, Isamu looks up to see a young ninja
approaching the offices.
Quickly making his way to the office, Sukotto flips through several papers, not taking
notice to the ninja sitting around until he nearly trips over him, sending papers flying in
several directions.
"Are you alright?" Isamu asks while hurrying to help his fellow ninja regain his
composure. "You seem a bit flustered...anything I can help with?" he asks while starting
to pickup the papers blowing in the breeze.
"I..I'm fine, please excuse my rudeness" Sukotto bows several times, quickly moving
about and collecting the various papers. "I don't know if you can help me, unless you're
good with blueprints." Sukotto motions to several blueish papers amongst the others.
"Well I have been helping some carpenters fix things around the village, but I'm afraid I
don't do much with the plans, I mostly haul lumber for them..." Isamu mentions. "The
name's Takahashi Isamu, nice to meet ya!" Isamu sticks out his hand as he introduces
himself.
Sukotto takes a deep breath, trying to calm his nerves. "I'm Tomonaga Sukotto, nice to
meet you too." He shakes Isamu's hand, a small smile crossing his face. "If you worked
with the carpenters, then maybe you can help me after all." Sukotto sits down, flipping through
several of the papers. "You see these blueprints are for the construction of some new
housing on east island, I drew them myself but I think they have some flaws."
Sukotto points to several of the papers, several errors in the construction appearing on
each page.
Isamu studies the pages for a minute before pointing to some places. "These areas need
more reinforcements I'd say, arches, braces, or even an h-beam or two." Isamu then
points at more sheets of the blueprints, "All of these plans are doable, but would require
some real strong timbers, better to just make supports every so often and save on some
money by buying the cheaper wood. Unless you're going for a certain look and feel...but
that's about all I know, I've seen a few buildings fall from these things..."
Sukotto listens intently, nodding every so often. "I see. It's not that I am going for a
certain look or feel, but due to how large the population of our beloved village has
become, we are in need of some more homes." Sukotto looks over the plans several
more times. "Not to mention that the cheaper wood would save on costs so we could
construct more homes." Smiling, he tucks the plans away. "Is there anything I can help
you with? I dare say I owe you a favor."
Reaching into his pack, Isamu pulls out a package. "Nah, just gotta take this over to
Hitokurou. Nice and simple!" Isamu then grins a wide smile of relief. "This is gonna be a
cakewalk compared to some of the other missions I've been on lately...Bandits and
Assassins get pretty annoying after a while. If you ever need some help with more
buildings, or you just need someone's face to become concave, don't hesitate to call!"
Isamu then puts the package back into his pack and turns to walk away.
Isamu turns back around quickly, "You said you were a Tomonaga, right?"
Sukotto looks up at Isamu, nodding and scratching his head nervously.
"I remember my father mentioning a Tomonaga Otoma being on his team at one point,
any relation?" Isamu asks randomly.
Jumping to his feet, Sukotto looks at Isamu, a broad smile on his face. "Otoma is my
father!"
"Well then, Fate may have us work together more in the future. See ya around!" Isamu
replies as he starts walking down the road.
Sukotto turns towards the mission's office, making his way inside.
