Long ago in Ancient Japan people only ate rice. Rice was rather bland, but it was nutritious and it kept everyone healthy. Vegetables and meats were added to the rice to make it more interesting. Then one day they invented noodles, and on that day everyone rejoiced, because their meals were no longer as bland.
Seeing this trend towards more interesting cooking, a clan called the Ramen clan decided to do something more exciting with the noodles, and they invented a tasty treat, naming it after themselves, and calling it "Ramen". This treat was basically a soup with noodles and various other foods in it.
The Ramen clan became wealthy through their invention, and opened up various stores throughout the world, and many of their members became Cooking Ninjas (cooking-nins). However, they were very reluctant to let any of their own people become fully fledged "true" ninjas, for fear that they might not be able to cook, or make money for the family.
Finally it was decided that the 1st born son of the 1st born son, going back 100 generations would be named "Ichike", and he would have the opportunity to try out as a ninja.
Ichike of course was quite excited at the opportunity given to him, but is always tempted to go back to the family business of Ramen making and cooking generally.

As much as I enjoy this horrible horrible rape of the world of Naruto I am gonna have to ask that this be taken down since it is in the wrong section.
