Should NarutoMUD allow for Reviews on TMC?

I remember years ago not wanting to allow for reviews on TMC, just because I'd get mad when people would use them to just be free advertising. I'm even guilty of using them to promote a previous MUD I worked for. I always felt that was cheap. However, the flip side, I think more people prefer using them over our own forums and most people are apt to read them on TMC.

So, I've been considering letting NM take reviews on TMC and any other site which allows them. What does everyone think?

I'm fairly new but, I believe that's a great idea. Not allowing reviews made me exclude you from past searches that I did with MudConnect. If I was being picky today, I would not be playing here due too this.

I don't see a problem with it, so long as there are no incentives for doing so. That way, no one can accuse you of advertising too much. Plus, you might get some bad reviews too (just kidding).

A few bad apples won't ruin it. They stand out compared to a real review. So just go offer a really good review, that is honest with your opinion.

In part with my advertising post, I agree with opening up player reviews on TMC because they give you nice front page coverage whether positive or negative.

I guess I forgot to lock this topic, but a couple weeks ago I opened up reviewing on TMC for NarutoMUD.
