Isamu is running as hard as he can up the slippery side of the pond. Though, try as he might, he just can't seem to reach the top. After he slides down yet again, Isamu springs back up and has another go at the slope.
Ichiro lands on the surface of the pond with a heavy splash, looking up at Isamu as the water settles again. "Ah, Isamu-kun, good to see you," Ichiro says as he looks around before kneeling to scoop some water in his hands.
Startled by the sudden spash behind him, Isamu slips earlier than usual, and slides down into the water. "You snuck up on me there, Ichi-nii-sama! Although, that was a much better greeting than what Yamashita-san did to me..." Isamu says as he holds up his armor, which appears to have a rather large footprint in it.
Scrubbing at several soot marks on his face, Ichiro replies, "Oh? So Yama-kun was here...I was actually out looking for him. Might I ask why you are running around on the pond? I would have thought you had mastered waterwalking long ago."
"I did, but I'm not using chakra, and instead of getting me some leg weights, the Uchuukage told me to do this for a few days straight..." Isamu replies. "I'm doing speed training! Once I reach the top, I'll start running up there with more weights!" Isamu dumps the contents of his back pack onto the ground. Ten 20-pound dumbbells fall into the water.
Ichiro nods appreciatively, "I see. Hmm, that gives me a rather interesting idea...I shall need to explore that later." Ichiro's face lights up as though suddenly remembering something, "Oh! You'll be pleased to know I've finally finished the research I've been so busy with lately."
"What was it on? Please tell me it deals with massive fiery explosions, or something like that!" Isamu asks with overflowing excitement, as he puts the dumbbells back into his pack.
Smiling and nodding, Ichiro says, "Yes, something like that. Would you like to see?"
"Yes please!" Isamu giddily replies.
Ichiro smiles and says, "You may want to stand back a bit."
Isamu takes a couple paces back behind Ichiro.
Carefully performing a series of handseals, Ichiro says, "Katon: Karyuu Endan no Jutsu," as he puffs out his chest. A burst of fire erupts from Ichiro, speeding across the surface of the water before crashing into the bank of the pond. Ichiro quickly performs another series of handseals and shouts "Suiton: Daibakufu no Jutsu" as water rises around him and rockets forwards, putting out the large fire as it crashes into the bank.
"Oooooooo..." Isamu mumbles, completely amazed. "That was amazing! All I can do is make water spear things..." Isamu says, still in awe. "If you were wondering where Yama-san went, he wandered off over towards those hills, saying something about the Isamashii...I tried to follow him, but for some reason I just couldn't bring myself to follow..."
Ichiro nods, "Those hills can be tricky to navigate. You'll learn the way eventually, I'm sure." Ichiro smiles, "Keep up with that training and I may have an interesting proposal for you. For now though, I must be on my way." Ichiro gives a friendly wave before departing with a large splash.
Isamu bows deeply towards Ichiro and begins his training again.
