Eisuke, Enishi, Aikou and Ari

Post by Eisuke »

Waves break around the lichen-covered wood of the platform, sea spray filtering to the
boards above, making the path slippery. Midday was arather quiet time for this part of
Nakama Island, the cries of the seagulls the only noises of note in the vicinity. Sunlight
gleams off the white-blond hair of Ari, walking down the path. Stopping, he scans the
platform, a frown marring his features.

Closing her eyes, Aikou slowly takes a deep breath. "Ahhh", she says as she walks by, not
noticing the other guy standing on the walkway. The water splashed as the tide rolled in,
while the girl walked on her way.

Noticing Aikou's entry, Ari walks up towards the girl with sure strides."Ahoy there! I
don't suppose you would be-" consulting a scrap of paper held in a hand "Jorou?".

The crisp air is eerily calm as Aikou looks up at Ari, "Umm, No... I am Kurai, Aikou."
She peers around and says, "Whats yours?"

A cool breeze calmly sweeps the platform, a faint scuffling noise sounds to the west
as sandaled feet softly approach. The boy's figure slowly becomes visible, his pure
white hair standing out from the surroundings. Eisuke stops upon seeing who was
already present, "God fucking damn it" He thinks to himself, "Just my luck, that prick
Heishi, and that little bitch that was looking for Takaioto..." surprisingly however,
he smiles warmly, the expression looking alien and strangely out of place on the boy's
face. "Hello there! Sorry, am I interrupting something?", "That fucking prick Takaioto,
espionage my fucking ass, I don't know how long I can pull off this bullshit, ughhh."
His inner voice screams at him.

"Heishi Ari.", the lanky genin was replying, head inclining slightly in greeting. "The
teacher down at the Academy needed to pass a message to him, and I was just lucky
enough to be in the wrong place at the wrong time." His smile freezes in place as lupine
eyes catches Eisuke approaching the two of them. "Speaking of luck," his smile seems
stuck. "Yes, you are." Ari said baldly.

Aikou slowly blinks as she looks to Ari, then Eisuke, and back at Ari. "Umm, Hey
Eisuke, this is Ari... we just met." Looking around, she pulls out a small bun, and
begins to nibble on it slowly. "I had to skip breakfast, to make it to the boat on
time.", she says as her face reddens and she blushes.

"Ah...." Eisuke pauses, "I see you're still a little sore..." His blank white eyes
invisibly shift to the teenager's ribs as he mentally struggles with himself not to
laugh, instead a sheepish grin crosses his face, "I really must apologize for our last
encounters, you see, I wasn't quite myself, let me introduce myself, I am Kirarai
Kentara, I am a Genin on-loan from the Leaf Village, I get a little weird when I am a
way from home, you see, I'm really not all that used to it." he pauses momentarily as
he looks at Aikou quizzically, "Foolish girl, damn it, if Takaioto didn't want her alive...
Doesn't know a damn thing about selective disinformation!" he growls to himself, "Excuse
me?"

An eyebrow hikes halfway up his forehead at the byplay between the two. "Two different
names, hey? Split personality?" The paper crackles under whitened knuckles at Eisuke's
obvious jibe, but Ari's voice was cool. "Why Eisuke, the way you say it, it seems that
you didn't lose the fight at all." He nods his head at Aikou. "I get what you mean, food
doesn't stay down when one get seasick."

The warm air, heavy with rain and brief gusts of wind punctuates the mood. "Wait...
excuse me, I thought you were someone else for moment.", Aikou adds "You look an awful
lot like an acquaintance of mine, I'm sorry.", she said looking at Eisuke. "Anyways,
I'm Kurai, Aikou.", Aikou bows. She looks around the platform, wondering if she sees
anything out of place, but shakes the feeling off as she looks at the sand.

Eisuke smiles warmly at Aikou, "No, that's quite alright" his focus now shifting to Ari
once once, "I'm sorry... You called me Eisuke also... Is this some kind of jest? Are you
really that mad at me?"

Taking a step back, the genin bowed deeply, albeit there's the niggling feeling of mockery
in it. "Such a short, turbulent relationship and you know me that well. All in sport of
course, Kararai." Ari smiled so beatifically, in what's fast becoming his trademark smile.
He scanned the area, not without a trace of impatience. "While I'll wait for Jorou to
return, what winds brings the both of you to Nakama?"

Aikou looks outwards towards the Ocean, "I was told the Ocean is beautiful here.". Rei's
nagging voice began to creep through, "You could murder them both! They look and think
you're weak! Kill them!", cried Rei. Aikou stared at the figment of her sub-conscious,
before she shook off the feeling and looked at Enishi as he entered, "Hi Enishi, good to
see you again. What brings you out here?". Seagulls caw in the distance, and the flapping
of wings can be heard if you listen carefully. "The weather out here, is simply wonderful!",
Aikou says again, simply cheerful.

Enishi smiles warmly as he walks onto the platform and waves, "Hello, I was just strolling
about and I just happened upon this spot." He glances from one shinobi to the next, sizing
them up individually and then greeting them all in a polite manner, "and how are all of you
today?".

"Yes, that is the same reason I am here, I was hoping the scenery would take my mind of my
home sickness" he sighs, "I get so agitated when I'm away from home..." the young boy then
turns to face the newcomer, "Ah, hello there" he smiles warmly at Enishi, only his smiling
lips showing from beneath the long white hair shrouding his face, "I do not believe we've
met, I am Kararai Kentara" all the while Eisuke's mind is screaming at him "God damnit
Takaioto! Why must I collect information on these fools! Why can't I kill them now.... Hear
them scream... Taste their bloo..." the boy then shakes his head, as he snaps out of his
train of though and returns his focus back to Enishi, "Uh sorry, this place really does
remind me of home..."

The once-empty platform was now becoming quite crowded, even in the midday heat. "Good day
to you too, Enishi." The platinum-haired genin nodded. "Heishi Ari." He jerked his head
towards Eisuke. "We're the best of friends.", he added, straight-faced. "Aikou as well, of
course."

A refreshing shower eases the oppressive heat, and a breeze wafts through the area. Aikou
lifts her face towards the sky, and shakes her blond hair, "The weather is getting on my
nerves...", she said. Looking around she added, "Perhaps we could go somewhere indoors?
We might catch colds.". "Yes!! No witnesses that way! Kill them quick!", Rei began, but
Aikou stared at the figment of her sub-consciousness; at seemingly nothing but air. Her
eyes darkened some, but she began to tune out her friend, because Rei was not always the
best of long-term planners.

Enishi shakes his head shortly, "No I think I'll be staying out here for some training,
but thank you ever so much for the invite!" He grins and turns to look out over the platform
glancing over the view of the ocean. He then sits, one leg crossing over the other and pulls
out a scroll from a pouch on his belt, opening it and beginning to read.

Eisuke turns to face Ari, sighing as he smiles half-heartedly, "I wish you really did mean
that, please do accept my apologies, it really was not my true face..." the boy smiles again,
"It is behind me! I am feeling so much better now! I will find a way to make it up to you!"

Ari slants a curious eye at Aikou's direction, evaluating. "I'm going to head off too. I've
more pressing things to do than wait for a kid to return," he muttered, half to himself. His
mouth curls up into a cross between a smirk and a smile. "Something that doesn't involve
bloodshed? How marvelous." Shifting his weight. "Next time we meet, then." With a half-wave,
he sets off, with a nod towards Enishi as he passes, glance lingering on the scroll in hand.

"I WILL kill you Ari... Just wait... I'll have my time..."Eisuke things to himself, before
smiling at Enishi once more, "Was nice meeting you, but time for me to go! Anki!" and with
that he disappears in a puff of smoke.
