Some thoughts and ideas

Hello!
First I want to start off by saying that I'm really enjoying your MUD. The time and effort that went into making NarutoMud what it is today is evident and I hope this MUD only continues to improve and stays around for years more.
That being said, I'd like to start off by pointing out some things that have been bugging me.
*Skills like kick, punch, and double kick- I haven't got much further than these three but I'd like to say that I feel as though they really come across as kind of useless so far. They might become more useful at later levels but these are very low level skills and I'd really like to see them reflecting that. At level 12 I max out double kick as high as I can (85%) and compare it's damage against my shell blade. Double kick does about 2 damage on average and my shell blade does about 10 on average (with the possibility to level it up eventually). For the sake of !!!science!!! I reallocate most of my stats into STR and I find that the numbers don't really change.
These skills seem pointless right now to me, especially considering how much STAM I have to use just to do 2 points of damage or so when I can just type 'kill <insert NPC here>' and watch the game do it for me.
I'm a huge believer in constructive criticism so my suggestions are A) Either make stats determine more about combat damage or B) Make it so each level in Taijutsu increase the damage you can do with your hands and feet while Ningu increases your weapon damage.
*Battle Abilities/Throw- Firstly, how are you supposed to train these skills? That said, throw has been a huge disappointment to me so far for two reasons A) Why can't I throw a 'small throwing kunai'...or anything for that matter? It seems like you have to put a lot of points into STR just so you can throw things. After I dumped all my stats into STR I found out that didn't even matter because B) I keep dropping the dang thing. I'm a ninja in training, not Butter McFingers! Please make it so we can practice these skills with points or if we can already, please make it more obvious. Also, shuuren with throw would make sense to me, assuming there's a dummy in the same room and you have kunai in your inventory.
Everybody is throwing starts and kunai like it's nothing but a thing in the series. Please, please, make it that epic.
