Abiku stretches comfortably and rests his back against one of the walls, casting a glance over the room curiously. Ichiro walks in and orders a large pot of sukiyaki and several bottles of Granny Kezu's Special Elixer. Yamashita follows Ichiro into the restaurant, ordering a jug of Elixer and two plates of ribs.
Abiku watches the two older men enter and pauses a moment, "I haven't seen many people except the villagers of this place around since I started coming here." he says, pushing himself off of the wall casually and ordering up some water and a plate of ribs. Yamashita removes his coat, hanging it on a peg near the entrance. "Man, I always forget how warm it is down here in the swamp. I've been roasting in that coat." Ichiro sits at a table with his elixer, sliding the large sword off of his back to lean against the wall next to him. Shaking his head, he says, "Geez, Yama-kun, your wardrobe is always crazy..."
Turning to the young shinobi, Ichiro says, "And you probably haven't seen many people, because most people who aren't from this village have difficulty navigating the swamp ." Abiku moves to a table next to the two men and sits down, placing his food on the table and removing his goggles, "Yeah, this place was hard to find the first time I tried getting through the swamp." Yamashita retorts, "At least I'm wearing clothes. The last time I came back from training to eat, I forgot to put things back on. The ladies loved it." He winks at the hostess in the corner.
The hostess blushes as she leaves the room. Abiku glances at the hostess as she moves between the table before his gaze drifts to the Mist Village forehead protector that Ichiro wears. Ichiro tries to wave the hostess back over unsuccessfully, "Dang...I wanted to know when our food would be out..." Abiku chuckles softly, "I had ordered a bit before you guys arrived. Training works up an appetite." he says before glancing down at his plate, taking a set of chopsticks, "Itadakimasu."
Taking a large swig of elixer, Ichiro says, "Indeed...I need to get back to my training...but I've been fairly busy with...affairs...as of late." Yamashita sniffs the air after taking a gulp from his jug. "That stew smells good too. I might have to get a bowl of that as well. We'll just see how the ribs are first." he says, salivating over his coming meal.
Abiku carefully eats some of his ribs, paying attention to not make a mess. After finishing his bite he looks over to the men again, "Are both of you here helping the Time Village also?" Ichiro polishes his Sand Village protector, "Something like that..." Abiku nods slowly, "So what village are you from originally....?" Yamashita grins, saying "I'm not from a village, I just collect these for fun. I've got a few more in my packs if you'd like to see 'em." Ichiro chuckles and shakes his head, "I'm originally from the Village Hidden in the Mist."
Abiku tilts his head to the side slightly, "So am I." Ichiro stares off for a minute in thought, "What's your name, lad?" Abiku smiles, "Hikouu Abiku. I doubt you've heard of my clan, we're not a renowned group." Ichiro waves over the waitress carying the food, "Hrmm, can't say that I have heard of your clan. What brings you to Time Village?"
Abiku hrms soflty, "The Mizukage asked for academy students to 'transfer' to the Time Village to assist them as needed. My family thought it would be good for me to see more of the world this way and learn to become more self-sufficient." Abiku continues, "And by doing so I was able to graduate the Academy a little early. Though not without working for it." Abiku smiles happily.
Yamashita's ears perk up when he hears of Kirigakure. "So, are the things they say about the Mist's genin exams true?" he inquires. Ichiro considers the young shinobi for a moment, before swiftly devouring his sukiyaki. Abiku looks over to Yamashita and shrugs slightly, "I've only heard stories of how they used to be..." Abiku takes another bite of his food.
Yamashita buries his face in his ribs, coming up only for air and booze. Abiku blinks a few times, watching the men devour their food, "You eat like it's been a week since your last plate of food." he says with a faint chuckle. Ichiro stops for a moment, "....It might have been...I've been out in the swamp for awhile on business." Abiku nods, "I've been to the north for a while now, battling the Riyoku" he says followed with a sigh.
Yamashita, his face covered in sauce and bits of un-captured meat. "I get hungry when I kill ninja," he admits before returning to his meal. Ichiro clenches a fist, "Those bloody riyoku have been nothing but a nuisance for so long....something really needs to be done about them permanently." Abiku nods at Ichiro, "I agree, but I'm not strong enough to challenge them on my own. The best I can do is thin them out one or two at a time."
Ichiro nods, "You could always spar with Yama-kun, he's an excellent teacher." Abiku asks, "Oh?" Yamashita shrugs and mumbles something into his food that can be barely be made out as "It's a gift." Abiku ponders for a moment, "I don't think it would be much of a spar on my part... Both of you look pretty strong..." Ichiro nods several times, "He taught me everything I know."
Abiku takes another careful bite of his food, chewing it slightly, a look of thought still on his face. Ichiro chuckles for a moment, "I'm not that strong though...not really sure why you'd think that..." Yamashita finishes his ribs and gulps down the last of the jug. "I eat Riyoku for breakfast, especially when I'm particularly hungry," he says, sporting an impish grin.
Abiku swallows his food, seeming to have come to a conclusion in his head, "I think you're being modest... But if either of you would spar with me or teach me something I would consider it an honor, I'm always eager to expand my skills." Ichiro chuckles again, "Yama only keeps me around to handle his finances and hold the swords. I'm terrible in a fight."
Abiku narrows his eyes a little, looking Ichiro over, "I still don't really believe you." he says finally, chuckling a little. Yamashita leaves a hefty sack of ryo on the counter as he rises from his seat. "Well, if you ever want to get some sparring in, catch me when I'm between missions. I'll do what I can to help, Hikouu-kun."
Abiku takes another bite of his food, looking between Yamashita and Ichiro, "So you guys are a team?" Ichiro nods, "Yama's the leader of our team, and the rest of the team is out working right now." Abiku finishes his plate finally and dips into his pocket and places some ryo on the table, "I see. What were your names? I will keep an eye out for you guys and try to catch you when you have some free time."
Ichiro says, "Sasaki Ichiro," as he rises from his seat, putting the unopened bottle of elixer away in his pack as he does. Abiku rises and nods, "Sasaki-san. Now that I've gotten some food in me I think I will train a bit in the swamp before heading back north, I have a band of ninjas that I need to hunt down... Elusive group."
Yamashita heads to the door, pausing to throw a chokuto at Ichiro. "Hang onto this for me for a while, will ya'?" Ichiro catches the chokuto with one hand, "and that's Sasaki Yamashita." Ichiro grabs Yamashita's coat as he walks through the door, "later kid." Abiku bows slightly, "See you around."
