It's evening in the Village of Time. And all seems well. The Village is is doing nicely all things considering and there
is plenty of work to go around. At one of the tables in the Tea Room is a young Genin named Takaioto. Relaxing and
enjoying a cup of tea as he reads over some scrolls..
Having sent out messages to all of the Sound Ninja in Time, Takaioto awaits for any to show up.
A bell rings through the Team Room as someone enters, the customers paying no attention to the new comer as he closes the
door behind him, causing the bell to ring again. "Hello there! How may I help you?" A cheery faced kunoichi greets
Eisuke. His face remaining completely blank he moves forward to step past the waitress, his shoulder quite ruthlessly
bumping into hers, paying no attention to her at all. "Well.... Errr...." quite flushed the waitress says, "Feel free to
have a seat and order when you're ready..."
Takaioto smiles and waves to the new comer, "Have you come to the Sound Meeting?".
Eisuke turns to face Takaioto. "So you're the one who sent the summons. What is this all about. I hope you have a good
reason for requesting my presence..." Seemingly glaring at Takaioto as he looks down at him, his blank white eyes,
strangely piercing, and emotionless expression unchanging.
Takaioto smirks, "First off. Watch your tone." He smiles, "I am not your enemy. Since we're of the same village you of
all people should know this." He slides out a chair, "Be seated." He puts down the scroll, "Your name is Eisuke.
Correct?".
The corner of Eisuke's mouth twitches. "Yes, Eisuke is the name I was given..." He almost scowls as he is reminded of his
pathetic adoptive family, "Secondly I am not 'of' any village, I was merely sent here for training. I care not for the
Sound village, and it cares not for me" His piercing stare remains solidly fixed on Takaioto, not once blinking as he
remains standing.
Takaioto smirks, "You'd be surprised, who cares for what these days. And boy if you think those cold eyes scare me. You
have another thing coming. I, like you; am a tool. A tool of death. I value not this life or yours. Only the mission." He
smiles, "And we have a mission. If you care to know of it." He drinks down the rest of his tea, "And your training will
mean nothing if it's not put to good use.".
The corner of Eisuke's mouth twitches again. "I'm listening".
Takaioto smiles, "Good. Take a seat. People will think us strange if we don't look like we're simply enjoying tea." He
pours himself another glass and pours one for Eisuke. He opens up his mouth wide to show that he's pouring in the drink
down his throat. "Whenever you drink with another. Always make sure they drink with you."
The corner of Eisuke's mouth twitches once more, much more noticeably this time, his patience obviously growing thin as
Takaioto grinds on his nerves. "Very well, I will be seated... But I care not for this drink." He then proceeds to pull
out a chair, but as as he bends down to be seated, he quite roughly scrapes his chest wound against the edge of the
table, leaving a small trace of blood on the surface, his face remaining devoid of any expression, completely lacking any
signs of pain one would expect to experience from such a mishap.
Takaioto nods, "Very well. As I was saying. We are both tools. And as such we've been given the best opportunity here. To
learn from the Shinobi all over the world." He sips his tea, "And from what I've heard, back home things are pretty much
fucked up." He smiles, "Which for us is a good thing. It makes our organization more freely able to make more of a
profit." He smiles, "There is one of the Sound I trust who can lead us in a more proper direction. Then our current
leader. And I aim to see that happen."
Takaioto smiles, "By learning everything we can about the other Villages and using their skills against them. Let's face
it, the ones with the most power will rule.".
"So we agree on one thing then. Who is this Shinobi of the Sound you speak of?" Eisuke replies.
Takaioto smiles, "My Father. He has developed a philosophy and school of thought, that in my opinion will and could make
Sound the most powerful Village in the entire land." He takes a bite from a cookie, "No feeling. No emotion. Just
discipline and following orders. Not living for ourselves, but for the mission. And the good of the Village." He smiles,
"This place here is just a rest stop. And what better way to branch out then to steal all of the other villages
secrets.".
Eisuke's eyes still not leaving Takaioto once, still emotionless, unblinking.
"Hmpph, family... Pathetic... But very well, it would be foolish to pass up such benefits. What is the plan?" Eisuke's
eyes still not leaving Takaioto once, still emotionless, unblinking.
Takaioto smiles, "Blood is thicker then water. You of all people should know this." He lights up a smoke, "First we play
nice. Act friendly, to all the other Ninja we see in the village. Get on their good side. Have them share things with us.
Learn secrets and what other information we can. What we find we report to each other. Then I tally up the information
and send it to Falcon to my father. Once we are ready, he will then tell us what to do. I suspect he will have us destroy
the village if we can handle it, which is fine with me."
The corner of Eisuke's mouth twitches violently this time. "Hah, 'blood is thicker than water'" he mimics Takaioto, in a
mocking tone, the first time his voice has shown any fluctuation or presence of emotion. "Such petty bullshit! 'I of all
people should know this' Stop talking out your ass! What should I know? That family are worthless! Nothing but a
weakness! Why should I give a flying fuck about them?" Stopping there, realizing in a moment of anger he was letting too
much slip, he clenches his fists momentarily before his face returns to it's blank state. "You don't have any idea what you're
talking about."
Takaioto smiles, "You were found in blood. You still bleed. You the texture. The taste." He smiles, "But you were found
by simpletons. Farmers. They are no better then their live stock and crops they tend." He smiles, "But you are descended
from Gods. Your power wouldn't be as strong as it is, if this was not so. Don't you see it?"
Takaioto smiles, "Your adoptive family. Aren't your real family. The blood that pumps through your veins and where it
came from; that's your family." He drinks his tea, "That's the blood of which I speak. Family as you know it, is
worthless. You didn't have anyone worth while." He smirks, "But what I offer is different. Useful. I offer you blood and
fire. The blood of my clan mixed with yours and the fire to reign down upon all who would stop us in achieving our
greatness. Our greatness is to be the best Tools we can be. You just have to decide who is going to use you. This petty
neutral Village. Or a Village with vision. A village who wants to control the weak. Profit from their pain, and kill anyone
who stands in our way.".
Takaioto says, "I know exactly what I'm talking about. You want power. And I can give you that."
"Hmphh" Still skeptical, not entirely believing the words Takaioto has spoken, Eisuke momentarily lowers his eyes. "Very
well then, I am at your disposal."
Takaioto smiles good. He takes out a kunai and cuts his hand. He throws it down on the table and offers his hand to
Eisuke. "Do it."
Calmly Eisuke reaches for the kunai, bringing the blade to his lips, an evil grin slowly spreads across his face, his
eyebrows narrowing, to form a crazed, maniacal look as he tastes the blood upon the blade, cutting his tongue in the
process, before suddenly without warning he plunges the kunai deep into the lower section of his chest wound, causing a
large amount of alarm to a woman seated at the table next to them, as blood quickly surfaces around the blade and drips
over his clenched fist. He then then removes the blade and drops it dripping in the middle of the table, looking nothing
short of demonic.
Takaioto stands up and places his hand on Eisuke's chest. "Now we are brothers. Welcome to The Kurone." He looks over to
the woman, "Shut your fucking mouth." He smiles looking demonic as well, "I think we are going to get along quite
nicely."
"So much for being nice to the villagers" Eisuke grins, and actually lets out a laugh.
Takaioto chuckles, "That bitch is nobody." He takes a puff from his smoke, "It's the Ninja we gotta play nice with.
Remember that. Will you be able to play nice? No evil eyes?" He gets his composure back. His eyes look much more kind and
he smiles, "Like this?"
The corner of Eisuke's mouth twitches again, his face returning to it's blank state once more. "It's... Not exactly
something that comes naturally to me..."
Takaioto nods, "I have books for such things." He smiles, "When I told you my father was a genius he meant it." He hands
you a scroll that reads Espionage. "Basically it teaches you what you need to know when spying. Basically if you need to
play nice, how to do so. And also gather information. I've read all of his manuals. This will be something very important
in regards to our mission.".
Eisuke wipes his bloody hand on his bandages, smearing half of it across his chest, before taking the scroll from
Takaioto and nodding.
Takaioto nods, "You need to learn to fit in. I've acquired the skills because I've had to. Not only will this help with
information gathering. But also with assassination." He smiles, "Which I'm sure you're eager to get into.".
Eisuke simply nods as he stares silently at the bloody kunai in the middle of the table.
Takaioto smiles and wipes off the blood from the kunai. He tears the handkerchief in half and gives one end to Eisuke.
"That's your part of the contract. This is mine. We shall meet again soon. I'll contact you. Until then keep a low
profile. And think of anyone whom you've met that we should discuss during our next meeting." He bows. Until then... He
performs the hand seals for Anki Ninjutsu.
Eisuke slowly stands up, pocketing the handkerchief, and turns to head for the door, conveniently behind the lady who was
seated at the table next to them, that demonic look slowly spreading across his face as he follows her out.
