Kounin - training grounds:
Amanido looks around, sensing movement deeper in the forest closer to Kounin.
Kounin - Forest:
Amanido scans the surrounding area but fails to find the person, or thing, that moved in that strange way among the trees.
"Maybe they moved closer to the village... I'll have to be careful", whispering to himself in a low tone,
a habit he had developed while trying to survive in the forest to help him keep his sanity.
Kounin -Toki Lane:
Keiko, the Legendary Time Keeper of Uchuukagure is standing here.
Amanido jumps as he unexpectedly comes accross a female standing on the lane.
Amanido slowly lopes towards the woman, pausing cautiously every now and then. Maybe 10 feet away,
Amanido remembered the manners his teacher had ruthlessly instilled in him and asked, "Who may you be, fair lady?"
yet feeling awkward at the words coming from his mouth.
Blinking once, Keiko turns around and glances over her shoulder to see the little boy standing not far off.
Letting a mild smile curve her pale lips, she wiggles a few gloved fingers in his direction, "Tsurugami Keiko.".
Amanido blushing wildly he stumbles a few words out, "I.. erm.. I'm Amanido"
then shaking his head at the mistake says, "Tousho Amanido.".
Amanido looks closely at Keiko "Was it you who I saw shooting through the trees back there?".
Keiko's head tilts slightly to the side as she casts her gaze in the direction of the forest for a fleeting moment,
then shrugging her shoulder, she shifts on her feet comfortably, "Yep.".
Amanido looks at Keiko with slightly widening eyes as his mouth slowly drops open.
Consciously, Amanido picks up his jaw and manages to squeek out a few words, "That... was fast, very fast".
Amanido shakes his head a little, trying to get the suprised look of his face and gain a little composure.
Keiko absently smiles at Amanido, her silvery blue eyes seemingly gleam in the orange glow
cast upon the world by the slowly descending sun.
Amanido jumps back a little, wary of any attack the woman might throw his way yet knowing that
he would be nothing to dispose of to someone like her. "Be your intentions hostile or friendly?"
slightly bowing his legs in preperation for her answer... to either fight or flee as the situation called for.
Keiko twitches her mouth into a slight, amused smile at Amanido's words,
drawing her hands out of the pockets of her vest, she lifts up her hands and starts to go through a series of handseals...
Amanido quickly fumbles through some defensive handseals,
trying to read the woman's movement and replace himself with a log the moment she attacks.
Her eyes twinkling devilishly as she laughs softly at Amanido's expression,
Keiko drops her hands down to her sides and 'tsk's softly at him, "I'm a Tsurugami, kid.
I don't attack unless I'm attacked or on a mission.".
Amanido relaxes visably as he lets his limited Chakra drain back into his body.
"Scared me near to death, though I see the comdey in you actions" laughing lightly as he also drops his hands to the side,
yet still keeping a hand near his kunai's sheathe.
Keiko glances about the now darkened pathway slowly, the only sound preventing silence are the waves
crashing against the cliffs nearby and the sound of nightlife.
Looking in the same direction as Keiko, Amanido drops his hands a little more,
relaxing his defensive posture and standing up a bit more straight. "Tis a beautiful night indeed...
nights like this is what I cherish most" glancing sideways at the woman "What brings you to this part of the forest?".
A soft breeze blows through the country, kicking up dust.
Amanido coughs wildly as dust floats down his throat.
Amanido says, "the dust, not so much."
Keiko shrugs her shoulders and gestures further down the lane, "I was hungry and decided to go get some ramen.".
Keiko ponders.
Following the gesture from Keiko, Amanido starts to think about food
and the measly breakfast that happened far too long ago. Stomach growling like a dying beast,
Amanido also points down the lane saying, "I could eat... a lot".
Keiko chuckles quietly and invitingly gestures for Amanido to follow as she starts up the lane, "I'll treat you.".
Amanido nods, but pauses for a bit, "Just don't slip anything questionable into it".
Amanido grins.
Keiko gently rolls her eyes and beckons Amanido along once more, "Of course I won't.".
Keiko has left the game, To be continued...
Will Amanido eat the Ramen as provided by Keiko?!?
Will Keiko slip something into his Ramen?!?
Will Amanido Survive?!?!
Figure in the Forest
Re: Figure in the Forest
You should have edited this a bit first, there are a few echoes from the MUD that don't need to, and probably shouldn't, be included in your post. Additionally, you should have at least run it through a spell-checker as it is hard to read as is with typos and such.
Re: Figure in the Forest
Additionally, you shouldn't post incomplete logs without asking your fellow player if they agreed with the posting of it also.
